Chapter 6.1, p 182 to 186. KTP, p 182. Answer #1-4, p. 186. Watch the beginning (likely between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m.) of the President’s State of the Union Message to Congress. This speech is one of the responsibilities of the President specifically stated in the Constitution (Article II, Section 3). Pay attention to the different branches of government that are represented in the House chamber. All grades for the second term have been entered in RDS.

Wednesday is the last day that I can make changes before your report card is published. The second semester begins with our study of the United States Constitution as it functions today. Read Chapter 6.1, p 182 to 186 for Tuesday, January 20. KTP, p 182. Answer #1-4, p. 186. Term 2 (second 9 weeks) Review Test is Friday, January 16th.
The test, which was announced daily in class since Monday, January 12th, will consist of 23 questions taken directly from the quizzes on Chapter 4, Sections 1 (November 5) and 2 (November 13) and the Revolutionary Era Test (December 3). There will be 2 questions about the Constitutional Convention. Click here for a copies of the quizzes and the test. Refine and revise your letter! The final copy is due on Thursday, January 15.
Wednesday, January 14 is the last class period for revising, word processing and checking your bibliographical (references) information. Use this checklist posted in class today and here to revise and complete your letter. Review pages 144-145 about biographical narratives, pages 156-157 about the origins of the Constitution, and page 174 about point of view to complete your letter. Work on your Delegate Letter!
