Today we watched Part I of John Adams, an HBO production based on the Pulitzer Prize winning biography by David McCullough. Entitled Join or Die, this episode portrayed the events surrounding the Boston Massacre and the ensuing trial in which Adams successfully defended the British soldiers charged with murder.
